I dedicate the Silver Dove for the Best Film DOK Leipzig, the first documentary film festival in the world, to the strong people of the Republic of Artsakh. Azerbaijan kept them under siege for 9 months, starving them to death. Just 20 days ago, they were attacked and ethnically cleansed, subjected to genocide. In particular, I honor Vagif Khachatryan, who was abducted from the car of Red Cross and is now kept alone and helpless in the dictatorial prison of Azerbaijan.

I have no doubt that the dignity of Armenians and nations that share our fate will be restored, justice will sooner or later prevail, and this identity crisis will be overcome.

Thanks to the professional team of SaNoSi productions, Eurasiadoc, CinéDOC-Tbilisi, DOK Leipzig and, of course, Hasmik, Garik and Levon, the protagonists of the film "Beauty and the Lawyer".
