Today, Khachatryans' legal team made a statement in which it voiced legal assessments and recorded the events of the last day, including the statement of the RA Prime Minister's spokesperson. The statements, in particular, reads:

“The statement by Gurgen Khachatryan, co-founder of Galaxy Group of Companies and chairman of the Board of Directors at Ucom, which was published by dozens of media outlets, implied logical legal actions. Prime Minister’s spokesperson publicly stated that not only what Gurgen Khachatryan said is true but also stressed what specific agenda and motives of redistribution of property the RA government has adopted, which, let's emphasize, can lead not to the benefit of the state but of specific entities.”

Based on this, we find it important to note the following.

1. The RA Prime Minister’s spokesperson, according to their own official confirmation, speaks on behalf of the Prime Minister and the RA Government, having a prior agreement regarding the content with their immediate supervisor. Thus, let me point out that making biased legal assessments and statements such as “according to government intel” or “property of illegal origin” are very unprofessional to say the least. Since when has the Prime Minister's Office received investigative functions? We note that what happened is void of context and openly directs the activities of law enforcement agencies. After this announcement, the officials, who should have been involved in this case, will act in an atmosphere of direct and open pressure, and will be constrained to record any reality other than what was presented on behalf of the RA Prime Minister's spokesperson as an “objective” reality.
2. We have witnessed the publication of insults and slander at a high state level. What does a corrupt "mafia" system mean? Is there such a charge, is there a court verdict or a verdict at all? We note that there has been a gross violation of the presumption of innocence of Gagik Khachatryan and his sons, in regards to which we consider the scope of the relevant judicial actions, the necessity and expediency of their implementation.
3. We would like to inform that immediately after Gurgen Khachatryan's statement, the announcement and implementation of large-scale actions in the apartment and businesses, clearly showing that the issue is not of legal issue, but a clear assignment of a specific agenda. This proves once again that the law enforcement system and the entire existing criminal justice toolkit are used exclusively to serve other hidden agendas. Taking all of this into account, we urged Gurgen Khachatryan to reconsider his approach towards the law enforcement agencies—which continue operating outside of the norms—meaning appearing, cooperating and providing information.
4. Thus, we state that the processes that henceforth serve a specific agenda are beyond legal logic. From now on, the process of redistribution of property in an open and obvious way, destabilizing business, intentionally or negligently damaging thousands of employees, has a central responsibility, which we record.
