The Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) cordially invites you to participate in the presentation of the book "The Borders of Armenia During 2600 Years of History" by the esteemed researcher Rouben Galichian. This enlightening work has been published in four languages, showcasing the geographical, cartographical, and historical changes in border situation.
The primary objective of this book is to provide readers with invaluable insights about how Armenia has been depicted and perceived by foreign cartographers throughout the history, as well as show how and why the borders of Armenia have changed since 1917, always to the detriment of Armenia, and in most cases without official justification.
As a researcher specializing in cartography and cultural history of the region south of the Caucasus, Rouben Galichian has dedicated his expertise to exploring the territories and borders of historical and present-day Armenia.
AGBU has covered all the costs associated with printing and translating this book into French and Russian.
The presentation of the book will take place on June 28, at 18:00, at AGBU Armenia Hall (2/2 Melik-Adamyan Street).
We look forward to welcoming you at the presentation.
