Four rounds of talks were held between the foreign ministers of the two countries at different intervals. This was announced by the spokesman of the Iranian foreign ministry, Nasser Kanaani, referring to the relations between Iran and Azerbaijan, Mehr reported.
"During the last round of talks, some steps were agreed, including the exchange of technical delegations between the two countries to reduce tension and resolve disputes. Within the framework of the same agreement, an exchange of delegations took place between the two countries. And as a result of these talks, the fourth round of the talks between the foreign ministers took place, and a general understanding was reached between the parties. God willing, there will be an exchange of other delegations as well. Now we are at the phase of talks to move from the tension phase to a new phase, in order to open the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran again," Kanaani said.
