Министр обороны Великобритании представил дополнительный пакет военной помощи Украине

Министр обороны Великобритании Бен Уоллес сообщил о дальнейшей военной поддержке Украины, подтвердив поставку 14 танков Challenger 2 и изложив ряд других деталей, передает Reuters.

«Сегодня я могу объявить о наиболее значительном на сегодняшний день пакете боевой мощи для ускорения успеха Украины. Это включает в себя эскадрилью танков Challenger 2 с бронированными ремонтно-эвакуационными машинами», — сказал Уоллес в парламенте.

В комплект также входят:

- Восемь орудий AS90

- Сотни дополнительных бронированных и защитных машин, включая бронетранспортеры Bulldog.

- Пакет поддержки маневров, включая возможности преодоления минных полей и преодоления мостов.

- Еще несколько десятков "беспилотных авиационных комплексов" для поддержки артиллерии

- Еще 100 000 артиллерийских снарядов

- Сотни более сложных ракет, включая управляемую реактивную систему залпового огня (GMLRS), ПРО Starstreak, ракеты ПВО средней дальности.
